This week’s rearranged movie (I feel like we are starting a trend here since the last three weeks have been, ahem, ‘off-road’) is Groundhog Day (1993, US, d. Harold Ramis).  We were (re)scheduled to have screened Angel Heart but the recent student take-over meant that all the sessions got delayed a week and the person who selected this title now cannot make the screening.

Either way, it’s a comedy in which Bill Murray, a TV weatherman, finds himself living the same day over and over again.  It’s a film that performed well at the box office but found a new lease of life via home video, TV and cable.  It regularly ranks highly in all manner of respected lists.  Clasp your eyes on the trailer below and head on over to the Media Centre at 6pm.

As ever, entry if free
